You’ve spent several weeks getting everyone to agree on the dates and destination for your holiday with your mates. Now it’s a done deal, you’ve chosen les Arcs and you’ve made the right choice! With the funiculare and the free shuttle buses between the various parts of the resor you’re free to enjoy the slopes and your evenings. Here’s an ideal programme to follow for a day whatever your ability.
Meet up at the Col de Chal, the rallying point for the little troop. Lift up your eyes and enjoy the view of the snow-covered peaks. Right, off you go for a crazy run in the Arc Valley.
After taking the new Varet telecabins, meet at the Aiguille Rouge "bin" to climb to the top of the resort. Once up there, go to the Aiguille Rouge Walkway.
A little tip: close your eyes for a few seconds to focus on the silence of nature, then enjoy a breath-taking view.
Next, reel off a few turns on the Arandelieres piste and those who don’t feel like it can go down in the telecabin
There’s no shortage of restaurants or snack bars sur les pistes ne manquent pas. We all have our favourite places for sharing a seafood platter (yes, it’s possible even at an altitude of 2000 metres), or more locally a good tartiflette.
For a few minutes, swap your skis for a toboggantoboggan and launch yourself into a 3-KM descent. Guaranteed to raise a big laugh !
The day isn’t really over, so head for the SnowPark to share a chill-out moment for some and some obstacles for others.
If you’re still craving thrills, take off in a rubber ring from the Toboggan runand land on a Big Airbag mattress.
It’s time to get together over a drink and enjoy an après-ski so characteristic of a holiday on the snow. Whether it’s at l’Arpette,or the Folie Douce, you can also shake your hips and enjoy the music! And what happens in les Arcs stays in les Arcs !
+ BONUS :
For the more courageous, you can meet at sunrise for a First Tracks, to swoop down the slopes before everyone else.
